PCIe 3.0 x4 has a theoretical max raw throughput of 4 GB/s. So maybe just give it a bit more time?įor performance, I would suggest using something like CrystalDiskMark to benchmark the RAID 0 setup. How long are you waiting at the "Loading iaStorAC" prompt? I remember that when I've loaded the RST driver during regular Windows Setup to install Windows onto a RAID virtual disk, the "Add Driver" wizard hanged for literally a couple of minutes before proceeding - and Rescue Media uses the same WinRE/PE environment that Windows Setup does, along with the very same drivers.
